Lift West has grown to become one of the UK's leading independently owned material handling
equipment service providers, and also provides facilities management, training, hire and vehicle
MOT and servicing to its customers with over 80 employees and 3 sites located across the UK.

Purpose And Scope
We are currently looking to recruit for a very enthusiastic, determined and actively minded
individual to join our busy sales team. To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a
compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and
inbound warm leads.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Business Development Responsibilities:
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Answering in bound calls; taking orders; dealing with new enquiries
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
Welcoming guests in to the business.
Confident on upselling to clients in all aspects of the departments.
